As Business Process Expert, Position Management you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational components of the process. Your main focus will be on simplification, harmonization, standardization, documentation, and performance measurement. You will work closely with stakeholders from Service Delivery, Enabling Functions (e.g., HR, Finance, IT), and Business to define the strategic target picture and develop efficient procedures globally. Additionally, you will monitor process performance, seek opportunities for process enhancement, and act as a strategic enabler for the operational teams. The role also includes serving as the business application owner for relevant technology and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Your Role:
- Define the strategic target picture for the Position Management process in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and implement efficient procedures globally to streamline position management processes
- Own and maintain up-to-date process documentation
- Monitor and measure the performance of the Position Management process
- Identify business opportunities for process development and enhance the scope of Position Management services
- Act as a strategic enabler and sparring partner for operational teams, driving process enhancements and innovation
- Serve as the business application owner for relevant technology
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders from HR, enabling functions, and business executives to gather requirements and resolve issues
- Consult on strategic and function-critical projects as a Subject Matter Expert for Position Management
- Represent the company in external focus groups related to Position Management
- Foster a working culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Who you are:
- Academic degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resource Management)
- 5-10 years of experience in GBS organizations or comparable process-related roles
- Experience working in diverse international teams and collaborating with multiple departments and external parties
- Track record of success in implementing measurable process improvements
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organizational setup
- Experience working with operational delivery teams and virtual teams
- Previous experience in process management, preferably in position management or HR operations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of service management and strategy comprehension
- Customer-oriented mindset and strong advocacy for new approaches
- Fluent in English language
