The holder of this position is accountable for designing and driving a transparent Finance performance management approach across the organization. The role connects Finance strategy, operational performance, business-sector priorities and senior stakeholder decision-making. It translates performance data into clear insights, actions and governance routines that improve Finance effectiveness and value delivered to the business.

Finance performance management

• Design, implement and continuously improve the Finance Performance Management framework, including the KPI architecture, definitions, targets, reporting cadence and governance routines.
• Translate Finance strategy and transformation priorities into measurable performance objectives for Finance services, processes and enabling activities.
• Coordinate the collection, validation and interpretation of Finance performance data, ensuring that reporting is consistent, meaningful and focused on business outcomes.
• Support Finance organizations in analyzing performance results, identifying root causes and defining appropriate corrective or improvement actions.
• Distinguish topics requiring structural changes or full-scale improvement projects from topics that can be managed through daily management, standard problem solving or 3C-like action tracking.
• Review performance measures with Finance leadership and relevant process or service owners to ensure that the right topics are measured and remain relevant for clients.
• Conduct external benchmarking, where relevant, to support ambitious but realistic Finance targets and identify opportunities for process and service improvement.
• Join and, where required, co-lead performance review sessions with Finance stakeholders, business partners, business sectors and other Enabling Functions.
• Use sector knowledge to interpret performance differences, assess the relevance of Finance KPIs and tailor analyses and recommendations to the needs of individual business sectors.
• Build trusted relationships with sector leadership teams, Finance business partners, Finance service owners and relevant Enabling Functions.

• Bachelor degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, IT, etc.)
• Master degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, performance management, business partnering, transformation, process excellence or a corporate/consulting environment with varying scopes and responsibilities.
• Several years of experience working in diverse international teams and demonstrating success in roles involving multiple departments and senior stakeholders.
• Proven success in major projects or initiatives that delivered measurable process, service or performance improvements.
• Experience in a global, shared-services, GBS or complex corporate environment.
• Experience working with stakeholders from different business sectors, functions, countries, regions and global teams.
• Experience preparing management information, performance reviews, executive presentations or business review materials.
• Experience with Finance processes, performance metrics, data interpretation and action tracking.
• Strong Finance and performance management expertise, including KPI design, target setting, trend analysis and performance governance.
• Demonstrated understanding of different business-sector operating models and the ability to translate sector priorities into Finance performance insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear messages and practical actions.
• Demonstrated familiarity with and active use of Lean methodologies/tools and ways of working to identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable performance improvements.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, change management and influencing skills.
• Result-oriented, structured and collaborative way of working; able to challenge constructively and take ownership.
• Strong intercultural and virtual-team collaboration skills.
• Very good understanding of Finance processes and their impact on business performance; familiarity with related HR, Procurement and IT processes is beneficial.
• Fluent in English.
• AI literacy: understanding of how artificial intelligence technologies work, their practical applications and decision-making implications, and the ethical considerations involved, including bias, fairness, privacy and accountability.
