Your Role:
- To perform Fixed Assets, Projects Accounting and Capital Expenditure /Order Accounting for diverse and complex business operations.
- Maintain an accurate fixed asset register, including tracking the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets.
- Work closely with other departments including local finance organizations and support ensuring the integrity of the Fixed Assets accounting data.
- Support the recording of all related financial activity in the Financial Services Statements and the ERP Fixed Asset sub ledger system.
- Conduct reconciliations and provide reporting and analysis services to internal customers as assigned.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting all activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations. Assist in the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to fixed assets.
Who you are:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent accounting license is a nice to have but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in fixed asset management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards related to fixed assets (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment with an understanding of different regional practices and regulations.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work at BGC, Taguig, during day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or mid shifts. Shifts change due to MEC.
