As part of the overall strategy to drive quality-based, cost-efficient, and timely service delivery, this role will be part of the GES Employee Services organization based in Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tactical and operational HR support for specific country stakeholders from the UK and Ireland. This role will report to the Regional Operations Head for APAC, UK/IE, MEA overseeing Tier 1 Payroll functions. 

Your Role:

  • Perform daily HR Services operations particularly payroll & benefits.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports for payroll processing including expat payroll.
  • Prepares a summary of data for submission to benefits/payroll provider.
  • Administration of employee benefits enrollment including expat.
  • Administration of vendor payment.
  • Takes ownership of end-to-end process.
  • Manage the ticketing tool to ensure that all cases are handled in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with third party service providers.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Timely respond to process-related inquiries.
  • Understanding of confidentiality required to perform HR activities due to the sensitive nature of the work.
  • Identify any knowledge gaps and escalate concerns to the Team Leader.
  • Seek opportunities for continual improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in other HR functions as needed.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR services, specifically in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience managing payroll functions for multiple countries, particularly in the UK and Ireland.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HR management systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
  • Strong analytical skills for preparing and interpreting payroll reports and data summaries.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes, employee benefits administration, and relevant labor laws in the UK and Ireland.
  • Familiarity with expatriate payroll and benefits management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and third-party service providers.
  • Strong customer service orientation to address employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to team goals.
  • Willingness to assist in other HR functions as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced with ticketing systems for case management.
