The Hub Office Expert is supporting the Hub Leader and the Hub LT in building and executing the strategic roadmap.
Your Role:
- Collaborates within the Hub LT, MBS Leadership and stakeholders to define, execute, and monitor strategic & engagement initiatives.
- Leads and manages hub’s complex or light projects and initiatives, ensuring successful and timely completion.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams and resources to deliver desired outcomes of strategic initiatives.
- Supports the facilitation of strategy activation activities, change management and information flow throughout the hub, MBS or Merck organization.
- Drafts and reviews internal and external communications, reports, and presentations for leadership meetings (Hub LT, MBS LT and stakeholder meetings).
- Develops and implements procedures, and guidelines to ensure efficient and consistent operations across the organization.
- Pioneers We4Us activities in the hub.
- Supports Environment, Health & Safety and Business Continuity measures in the hub.
- Supports the development and implementation of the strategic vision and goals in alignment with the organization's overall mission and objectives.
- Oversees special projects and initiatives that are critical to the success of the organization and require coordination at the head office level.
- Supports initiatives in ensuring the hub has robust operations.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in different roles in a corporate or consulting environment with varying scopes and responsibilities related to strategy definition, project management, strategy activation and implementation
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar roles
- Proven success in major projects and initiatives aimed at implementing measurable process improvements.
- Significant experience working in GBS environment
- Significant Experience working with senior stakeholders from various functions at country, regional and global levels.
- Extensive experience working with Global, sometimes virtual, operational delivery teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Project management expertise
- Change management skills
- Excellent organization skills & results driven
- Combines strategic thinking with effective execution.
- Strong intercultural & virtual team management skills
- Strong knowledge of GBS
- Fluent in English language
