Your Role;
- Verify the validity of transactions and attachments for compliance with company policies, financial reporting standards and management requirements
- Respond to complex requests and queries in a timely manner and escalating issues as they arise
- Monitor, analyze and resolve outstanding supplier accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Perform vendor reconciliation and resolutions
- Work with vendor companies to resolve complex payment issues, and respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner and escalating issues as they arise.
- Solve complex problems based on analytical thoughts, sound investigation and complex judgement which require in-depth knowledge and experience in own job discipline and knowledge of related disciplines.
- Assists in the review, development and implementation of process improvements or amendments within key areas
- Act as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues and do regularly exchanges of information or ideas that are relevant to one’s own job at a peer level.
- Assist in month-end closing as well as in internal and external audit
- Participate in and perform special tasks and projects that may be assigned.
- Readiness to work with vendor companies and other teams in resolving invoice and payment issues.
- Performs routine assignments using existing procedures or even works autonomously within established procedures and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, applying effective verbal & written communication in English and local language.
- Good prioritization skills –doing what matters most first and has a sound planning and time management skills.
- Is customer oriented and very good understanding and satisfying the requirements of the customer
- Has strong determination and self-motivation, impacts the effectiveness of own work team through quality and timeliness of services or information provided
- Has a certain flexibility working according to stakeholders/projects needs and timezone
- Knows how to read and interpret data reports, comprehend, filter and utilize relevant business data
- Provide high quality reporting and advanced analytics to enable data driven decision making
- Understands own team and supported the AP area specific to content knowledge, i.e. the organization, all documentation, procedures, best practices, business nature, int/ext stakeholders etc.
- Knowledgeable of the basic Project Management practice –able to support projects through assigned tasks, and reports the progress appropriately
Who You Are;
- Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in General Accounting or Accounts Payable
- A graduate of Accounting, Business Administration or other neighboring business-related fields, or completed secondary education with substantial professional experience, whether through training on the job or some formal qualification.
- Has acquired extensive functional knowledge and skills through job experience and understanding of the relevant range of AP processes, procedures and systems
- Demonstrates strong background and experience working with SAP, Ariba and other ERP systems
- Participated in and performed special/Adhoc tasks, projects and other implementation of technological solutions and their application such as ERP deployments, Robotics projects, etc.
- Able to provide appropriate technical and inquiry support to internal customers or end users
- Preferrably, has experience working within a Shared Services Center or BPO environment
- (For internal transfer) an increase in the scope of task i.e. multiple countries, legal entities and ERPs handled.
