We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced professional to become the Performance Management Expert in our Functional Solution Accounting and Finance team. Your Role:
Be the Go-To Expert: Serve as the central contact for all Performance Management topics within Functional Solution Accounting & Finance as well as our Delivery stakeholders at Merck’s Global Business Services (MBS).
Bridge Connections: Act as a vital link between Global MBS Performance Management, GPO Organization, Service Delivery Teams and senior management stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Lead with Impact: Own the monthly Performance Management cycle in our Functional Solution, facilitating and engaging in performance review meetings including supporting problem-solving sessions to strengthen ties between service units and the GPO organization.
Foster Growth: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within our GBS organization by coordinating collaboration between MBS FP&A, Sector FP&A, and MBS Delivery stakeholders to drive problem-solving initiatives and elevate our organization to new heights.
Steer Excellence: Lead the annual metrics review for Accounting & Finance, benchmarking to enhance performance management and ensure meaningful measurements for our internal customers.
Drive Innovation: Champion the continuous improvement of Performance Management processes by revisiting and evolving existing metrics in collaboration with KPI owners, while driving automation for KPI reporting.
Who You Are:
Educational Background: minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a relevant business role, with a strong grasp of GBS environments and global benchmarks.
Skills:
- Proficient in Performance Management, Continuous Improvement, and Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong process knowledge in Accounting and Finance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
- Strong expertise in implementing follow-up and action tracking systems to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Proficient in data analytics tools such as Excel and Tableau, with strong reporting and presentation capabilities.
- Proven experience in driving automation and improving efficiency within Performance management processes.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and independent worker who thrives in a global, virtual team environment, with a customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
