Your Role:

 

As a Program and Project Portfolio Manager, you will be a part of our Company's Business Services CoE Program & Project Portfolio Management team. Within our Company's Business Services portfolio, we manage various initiatives from initiation to closure. You will collaborate with Project Owners and Managers of our Company's Business Services to ensure alignment of project objectives with strategic goals. Your core responsibilities are managing project resources and budgets and ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously. Your role will include defining, implementing, and maintaining the portfolio and project management governance frameworks. Preparation and facilitation of status update meetings as well as overseeing the completion of project deliverables. In addition to day-to-day activities, you will contribute to the design and implementation of Portfolio Management related improvements and concepts. This will include the continuous development and maintenance of the project management tool.

 

Operational Responsibility

  • Develop and execute processes for managing and prioritizing the project portfolio to align with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Manage project portfolio planning, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Define, improve, and implement Transformation and Transition project execution methodologies required to deliver project results for both, traditional waterfall as well as agile approaches.
  • Maintain portfolio governance framework, including, standards, processes, and documentation. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices.
  • Monitor and track the progress of initiatives and activities within the portfolio. Coordinate and communicate with project managers and teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of milestones. Identify deviations from defined standard and apply mitigation activities.
  • Prepare regular portfolio status reports, metrics, and dashboards to provide visibility into program performance. Support presentation of updates to senior management and facilitation of portfolio reviews.
  • Develop and maintain project management tool.
  • Train and enable project managers and stakeholders to ensure understanding of and compliance with portfolio management frameworks.
  • Capture lessons learned from program execution and facilitate knowledge sharing. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lessons learned in future activities.

 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of project management or portfolio management, preferably within a GBS or shared services environment

  • Certification in portfolio management (e.g. PfMP) or project management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM)
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (preferably Adobe Workfront)
  • Profound knowledge in Lean methodologies and concepts
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment
