Your Role: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Software Tester to ensure the functionality, quality, and user experience of our internal intranet portal. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a reliable and user-friendly intranet by designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting issues, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to the intranet platform.
  • Validate functionality, usability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that system updates and enhancements do not negatively impact performance.

Defect Identification & Reporting

  • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies related to interface, functionality, and content.
  • Communicate defects clearly to the development team and monitor issue resolution through to closure.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Partner with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to fully understand system requirements and changes.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of testing activities, results, and defect reports.
  • Contribute to user-facing documentation and best practice guides for intranet use.

Training & User Support

  • Support internal users and content contributors by providing training, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Promote adherence to intranet usage standards and best practices.

Continuous Improvement

  • Advocate for and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay current with QA trends and best practices, especially as they relate to intranet and web-based platforms. 

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in manual QA testing, preferably on intranet or web-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, HTML, content management systems (CMS), and responsive design is a plus.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Taguig.
