The Quality Manager will lead and manage all quality and compliance related aspects for Philippines with regards to GMP and GDP in alignment with the strategy defined with the business and global quality functions. The QA Manager will ensure an effective Quality CMO governance over the CMO `s under Subsidiary`s responsibility. This includes the review, approval, and ongoing monitoring of suppliers. 

 

You Role:

 

Subsidiary Quality Role

  • Implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) for the company
  • Build quality awareness within local management team and ensure that local management fulfils its role regarding quality requirements as defined in the applicable regulations.
  • Reporting quality performance indicators to local management and take leadership in the performance of Tier 1 Quality Councils and Quality Management Reviews.
  • Establishing and managing an appropriate Quality Department that covers all GMP/GDP quality critical tasks.
  • Implementing Corporate and Global company standards and procedures, international and local applicable GDP regulations
  • Ensure that the defined quality systems and standards are implemented and followed so that the high-quality standards of company are achieved.
  • Perform Product Disposition for all shipments received in country.
  • Manage quality related aspects of company GMP/GDP vendors and partners in the country.
  • Liaise with quality global functions such as Healthcare Quality (HCQ) and report status of quality systems implementation, KPI and quality issues

 

Quality CMO Governance

  • Manage the approval, review and ongoing monitoring of CMO ´s under Subsidiary responsibility
  • Ensure thorough audit programs, periodic quality reviews, quality councils etc., are in place and in use,
  • Ensure that adequate quality systems are in place in the CMO complying to both local regulations regarding GMP/GDP and company’s HCQ standards.
  • Implement an effective Risk Management plan is in place for CMO suppliers

 

Who you are:

  • With 5+ years of relevant experience as QA Manager in pharma/healthcare industry
  • Effective Leadership of the subsidiary quality department to achieve the quality objectives and goals in alignment with HCQ Strategy. 
  • Set and assess the quality objectives for the quality team.  
  • Ensure the QA team is trained adequately to perform their tasks 
  • Build a motivated and effective team of quality professionals and ensure a development plan is place for each team member.  
  • Ensure that employees clearly understand and agree to their job description / responsibilities.
  • Ensure each team member has an agreed and signed Job Description appropriate to their role
  • Ensure an organizational chart is available to describe the local QA team
