Your Role:
The Subject Matter Expert (EKU) PO will play a critical role in providing specialized knowledge and expertise in the area of purchasing processes, systems, and best practices in terms of process knowledge, system expertise in ERPs and troubleshooting, issue resolution assistance, training and support resource for questions and guidance, process improvement in identifying opportunities for efficiency, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as procurement, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operational purchasing processes with overall business objectives.
- Completion of As-Is Analysis questionnaire
- Conducting Fit Gap Workshop to map out the current (as-is) process
- Conducting Fit Gap Workshop to outline the future (to-be) process
- Creation and review of test scenarios for testing purposes
- Providing Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) support with knowledge-specific testing scenarios
- Offering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support with knowledge-specific testing scenarios
- Conducting regression tests
- Preparation of data setup
- Performing data cleansing activities for vendors, invoices, and purchase orders
- Reconciling data for migration
- Assisting in the identification of end users and proper role assignment
- Providing consultation support for the creation of training documentation and end-user trainings (including preparation, conducting sessions, and material translation if needed)
- Conducting potential data quality checks
- Facilitating knowledge transfer
- Creating work instructions as part of knowledge transfer
- Participating in other relevant meetings
- Offering hypercare support
- Providing project milestone updates to Operations
- Conducting training sessions for users
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing processes
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Ariba, etc.
- Knowledge in Data Management, Data Mining and Data Migration techniques and practices
- Excellent critical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous for identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
