Your role:
- As an SME for Intercompany Accounting Operations you are responsible for providing expertise and guidance within the Intercompany Organization.
- This role requires knowledge in the entire Intercompany accounting process – end to end (Trade and Services), ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- As an SME you collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy, and quality financial reporting
- Responsible for key IC data reports and work closely with Functional Solutions Lead team (FSL) , IT and Business Excellence on potential improvements.
- Develop and implement guidelines and procedures for the effective management of Intercompany Accounting in coordination with Functional Solutions team and in accordance with the Accounting guidelines.
- Monitor overarching Intercompany Accounting related topics and processes on a regular basis to ensure process complies with existing Internal Controls and identify any issues or potential gaps.
- Develop and implement controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of Intercompany-related data
- Provide training and support to team members (especially new hires) of Intercompany on processes and procedures.
- Stay up to date in Intercompany accounting technology and recommend system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in Intercompany accounting operations in collaboration with the operations team and team leads also with Business Excellence team.
- Main point of contact in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various ERP projects where Intercompany Accounting is involved.
- Provides support during Internal and External Audits related to Intercompany Accounting and ensure compliance to Audit recommendations.
- Any other SME duties as aligned with the Supervisor/Manager.
Who you are:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or any related discipline.
- Knowledgeable in end-to-end process of R2R - Intercompany Accounting; preferably with more than 3 years working experience in the area of Intercompany Accounting, General Accounting, Order to Cash, Accounts Payable.
- Working experience in a Global Business Services (GBS) or BPO is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledgeable in ERP Systems (e.g SAP, Oracle)
- Must be amenable to work on a Mid or Night Shift.
