Overview:

As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and strategic alignment within our organization. Your responsibilities will span across leadership, process improvement, communication, risk management, and strategic planning.

  • Team management – Provide strong leadership to the FP&A Team, fostering a positive & collaborative work environment. Support team members' professional development, identify training needs, and encourage skill enhancement.
  • Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements within the FP&A function and collaborate with team members to implement changes. Understand and support tools and technologies from Global and within the department to automate routine tasks and enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
  • Communication - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders and make sure that the MBS FP&A business model will be implemented across the team. Facilitate effective communication between the FP&A team and other departments, fostering collaboration and information sharing.
  • Risk Management - Identify business continuity risks and work with the team to develop strategies for mitigation. Ensure adherence to quality management tools of MBS CO and compliance standards in all tasks in scope.
  • Strategic Planning - Contribute to the development of strategic plans of FP&A, ensuring commitments will be executed and updated.

Conceptual Knowledge

  • Understanding of financial reporting principles, including PNL statements, cost center analysis, variance analysis, WCOGS, sales, revenue and PVE analysis, Global Cost Element, and Global Cost Object Hierarchies to ensure accurate financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and tools to leverage technology for financial analysis and reporting. (TM1, SAP, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud)

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization, facilitating the preparation of reports and conducting data checks.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and reporting platforms, such as TM1, MGF Tool, MC4F, Analysis for Office (AFO), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Familiarity with data management tools and methodologies to handle large datasets, conduct data mapping, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Encompass a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and interpersonal abilities such as Business Acumen, Leadership and Management, Stakeholder Management, Adaptability and Team Development.

 

Who you are

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant of work experience, with at least some of it in controlling.
  • Graduate in Accounting, Management Accounting, or other business-related fields; with certifications e.g. CMA, CPA or CFA
  • With at least 2-3 years of experience as a team leader/manager, handling 5 or more people.
  • Must possess above-average leadership skills and be confident in presenting to senior leadership.
  • Has a concrete process improvement contribution and initiative.
  • Experience within a Shared Services Center is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.
