As part of the company strategic initiative to enhance quality-driven, cost-effective, and timely service delivery, this Team Lead role will be integrated within the GES Employee Services organization located in Manila. The position will report to the Head of Employee Services, Hire-to-Retire. The Team Lead will collaborate with the Head, SMEs and other colleagues within GES as well as may delegate certain administrative tasks to his/her subordinates, as necessary, contributing to employee development through practical learning opportunities.

 

Your Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day payroll & benefits operations of teams, both Regional & Local, within our supporting countries, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure efficient and accurate payroll & benefit processing.
  • Handle and resolve complex payroll issues and escalations from employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic guidance on payroll & benefits initiatives to support operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, quality standards, and service level agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Lead change initiatives and drive organizational transformation to optimize shared services and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Manage and optimize resource allocation, staffing, and skill development to support the delivery of shared services.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the shared services function.

 

Strategic Impact

  • Mainly accountable in the administration of overall quality-oriented Payroll, T&A, Benefits and Compensation data through tools and systems usage in relation to requests from the business sectors and MGF HR organization.
  • Understanding and compliance of confidentiality requirements to perform HR activities due to the sensitive nature of the work such as personnel data and sensitive information. 
  • Seeks opportunities for continual improvement and drive for efficiencies.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Finance & Accounting or any equivalent degree
  • Preferably 3 to 5 Years experience specializing in an HR Operations and/or Payroll function from a Shared Services or BPO organization
  • Direct experience working closely with internal stakeholders such as IT, recruiting, benefits and payroll
  • Understanding and experience in the use of HR systems and tools (i.e. Employee Central, MyLearning, SAP P40, PeopleSoft, Workday, Success Factors, Taleo, etc.).  
  • Understanding and experience in the use of Case Management systems and tools (i.e. BMC Remedy, Service Now, Neocase, etc.). 
  • Adequate experience in using MS Office applications.
