Your Role:

 

 A member of the Life Science Sector Cyber Security team. You will consult and support cybersecurity operations among our Life Science business units and sites to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability across the company’s IT and OT assets, as well as on software-based products and applications. Your main task is ensuring that cybersecurity policies, standards, controls, and regulatory requirements are properly understood and implemented. You implement and maintain technical and non-technical cybersecurity controls within BMAs (Business Managed Applications) and IT-Managed Applications for the manufacturing, QC, and R&D LABs areas. Examples of non-technical controls: you work with Corporate teams to embed controls in asset procurement, support sites when planning the Plant Maintenance, to guarantee security process is applied. You have solid skills to cooperate with global IT and OT Cybersecurity teams in a matrix organization, alongside the site OT Cybersecurity Managers. You are a reference for these Managers. Together with IT/OT Security Architects, you plan, deliver, and document security architecture solutions and projects within given Business Functions. You demonstrate strong technical competencies in OT Cybersecurity, such as security asset configuration, network segmentation, antimalware protection, and vulnerability management. You drive the OT threat handling process and govern the OT threat analysis. You support OT security programs within Business Functions and contribute to the delivery and maintenance of the company’s OT security posture, policies, controls, and processes. Coordinate and support sites during Audits & Compliance checks. You help manage the exception processes in OT. Perform risk assessments and consult on risk management principles. Participate in a Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) to cover major information security incidents on a sector-wide level. Define Business Function-specific OT security events and thresholds, and monitor dashboards. Development of cybersecurity awareness and training curriculum. Ensure that Business Function OT security training and awareness programs are defined and executed. Identify required skills for the OT Security organization, assess skill gaps, and acquire or upskill talent to address knowledge gaps.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience as a technical OT security professional with profound knowledge of ICS, preferably health care or life-science industry.
  • Ability to analyze OT security issues, manage conflicting priorities, and recommend a course of action with both a technical and business approach.
  • Professional designations/certifications such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), or similar are highly appreciated.
  • Experience with security risk management frameworks based on industry standard (e.g., ISO27005, NIST, IEC 62443, Namur, ENISA, BSI) and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Desirable information security competency through professional designation/certifications, such as CISSP, IISP, CRISC, CCSP, CISA, or CISM. 
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills (e.g., German) considered an advantage.
