Your Role: As a Sales Specialist – Academia, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to target universities, academic institutions, and hospitals, primarily in the eastern part of Slovakia, with some overlap into the central region. Your main focus will be on acquiring new clients and expanding our customer base, identifying and engaging with key decision-makers within the academic and research sectors. You will build and maintain strong relationships with faculty members, researchers, and laboratory managers, acting as their primary point of contact and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive product adoption. You will conduct presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value and impact of our solutions on research. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback will be essential in refining sales strategies.

Who You Are:

• university degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field

• proven experience in sales, preferably within the academic or scientific sectors

• exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and influence customers

• high level of enthusiasm and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• strong sense of accountability and ownership in achieving sales targets

• customer-obsessed mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support

• fluent Slovak & English language skills (spoken & written)

• valid category B driving license

Salary starts at 2,000 EUR and depends upon experience.
