A new vacancy for an Electrical Facilities Technician is now open in our Blarney facility

The Role

The Electrical Facilities Technician will be responsible as part of the Facilities Team for the day to day maintenance of the Facilities plant and equipment

Duties Include:

•    Preventative Maintenance/ Maintaining a Spare Parts Store.

•    Calibration

•    Energy Monitoring

•    Facility Requests - as directed by Facilities Manager

•    Fire Prevention Systems

•    Facility Projects - as directed by Facilities Manager

•    Plant Cleaning Program/ Site Maintenance both external and Internal / Cleanroom Wear.

•    Self - Audit

•    Non- Hazardous Waste Collection

•    Facilities Call out Team

•    Emergency Response Team

•    Pest Prevention

•    Landscaping

•    Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and adherence to all Job Descriptions going forward.

•    Any other duties as set out by Facilities Manager

•    This position requires daily interaction with supervisors, managers, engineers and contractors

Who You Are

Recognised electrical qualification or trade, plus relevant experience 

Good problem solving techniques
Initiative
Good oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills
