EMD Electronics in Chupei, Taiwan is seeking a Analytical Chemist to join our Analytical Technology group. This group performs analysis and characterization of trace metals and soluble components used in Patterning Products for the semiconductor fabrication industry.



Your Role
• Explore new metrologies to analyze raw materials and formulated products
• Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods for trace metals and component assays in Patterning products and transfer operating procedures to production QC laboratories
• Support New Product Development
• Work closely with R&D, production, quality, and commercial teams to ensure rapid delivery of new products to customers
• Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis
• Assist in data gathering and data analysis for Process Change Notifications
• Provide analytical and troubleshooting support for product quality issues
• Work with following instrumentation: HPLC, IC, GC, NIR, titration, ICP-MS


Who You Are
．Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
．Proven experience in analytical testing, method development, and validation in a laboratory setting (industry or academia).
．Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, KF, etc.
．Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, techniques, and methodologies.
．Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
．Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present technical information.
．Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
