Analytical Op&QC Lab Associate Scientist

The Biotech Development Center (BDC) is our Company's flagship biotech investment in line with the ambition to stay the Vibrant Science and Technology Company. The BDC is integrating analytical technologies of the future with high-tech automatized and digital laboratories, in a flexible, agile and highly collaborative environment.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Analytical Operations & Quality Control Lab Manager in the Global Analytical Development organization, this position offers a chance to significantly impact high-tech GMP analytical laboratories within the BDC. You will proactively design and execute new workflows in a cross-functional setup, collaborating with QA, QC, and production colleagues to ensure smooth execution of analyses, effective documentation management, and troubleshooting. Your contributions will be vital in a context of growth and simplification, ensuring the delivery of our specialty innovator biotech pipeline to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine analytical testing and method qualification, focusing on Capillary Electrophoresis and Liquid Chromatography, as well as stability assessments independently. ELISA, ddPCR are assets
• Deliver high-quality data treatment, elaboration, and analytical reports in a digitally agile manner.
• Interact with customers as needed to discuss results or coordinate routine activities.
• Work autonomously on routine or non-routine activities within established procedures, leveraging your technical expertise in stability and method qualification.
• Actively seek, share, and reapply knowledge within your field of expertise.
• Recommend and lead initiatives for analytical workflow improvements in a cross-functional setting.
• Present and defend relevant topics during health authority inspections.

Who You Are:

• CFC/Graduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or Biotechnology.
• 3+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory within a GMP environment, with a focus on Capillary Electrophoresis and Liquid Chromatography.
• Practical knowledge and comfortable application of LIMS, GLIMS is an asset; knowledge of Empower is a plus.
• Proficient in drafting analytical protocols, reports, and SOPs.
• Understanding of CMC NBE/ADC development.
• Familiarity with GLP/GMP/Quality Systems and international guidelines (e.g., ICH, Pharmacopeias).
• A team player with strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
• Curious and open-minded towards new tools and technologies.
• Proactive in proposing solutions and driving improvements within your area of impact.
