Analytical Op&QC Lab Associate Scientist

 

The Biotech Development Center (BDC) is our Company's flagship biotech investment in line with the ambition to stay the Vibrant Science and Technology Company. The BDC is integrating analytical technologies of the future with high-tech automatized and digital laboratories, in a flexible, agile and highly collaborative environment.

 

Your role:

 

Reporting to the “Analytical Operations & Quality Control Lab Manager” in the Global Analytical Development organization, this role represents an opportunity to significantly contribute to high-tech GMP analytical laboratories in the BDC, by proactively designing/executing new workflows in a cross functional set up. You liaise with peer QA, QC and production colleagues and you allow smooth analyses execution as well as documentation management and troubleshooting eager to develop in a context of growth, simplification, and changes to ensure the delivery of our specialty innovator Biotech pipeline to patients.

 

Your key responsibilities in this role are:

  • Conduct routine analytical testing, method qualification execution as well as stability in an independent manner in at least two of the following areas
    • Liquid chromatography
    • Electrophoresis
    • PCR
    • Spectrophotometry
    • MS based methods
  • Deliver data treatment/elaboration and analytical reports of high quality in a digitally agile manner.
  • Interact with customers when needed, with the aim of result discussion or coordination of routine activity.
  • Works autonomously for the execution of either routine or non-routine activities within established procedures and practices that requires knowledge of technical concepts or specialized technical expertise i.e stability. Method qualification knowledge is a plus.
  • Actively seeks, shares and re-applies knowledge in own field of activities.
  • Actively recommends and leads analytical workflow improvement initiatives in a cross functional setting.
  • Presents and defends relevant topics during health authority inspections.

 

 

 

Who you are:

 

  • CFC/ Graduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or Biotechnology.
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical laboratory within a GMP environment.
  • Practical use, knowledge and at-ease application of GLIMS
  • Knowledge of Empower is a plus
  • At ease with drafting analytical protocols/reports/SOPs.
  • Knowledge of CMC NBE/ADC development.
  • Familiarity with GLP/GMP/Quality Systems and international guidelines (e.g., ICH, Pharmacopeias).
  • Team player with good communication skills in English, French is an asset.
  • Curiosity and open minded to new tools and technology
  • Open-minded and proactive in proposing solutions and driving improvements within the area of impact.
