Position: Apprentice

 

Related to the clinical and non-clinical development of competitive products and solutions. Activities include, all aspects of research, technology development, product development, solution development and testing. Defines, develops, and executes the plans and projects of the laboratory. Executes routine testing, analysis, and reporting of results and develops new test methods. Prepares research reports and advises customers on findings and makes appropriate recommendations.

As Apprentice, Manufacturing Shared Services (ShS), you are contributing to USP/DSP/ShS manufacturing large-scale operations (from 200L- to 2000L-scale) for the production of materials supporting pre-clinical and clinical Phase I/II studies, for support to laboratory activities, and for the implementation of new technologies. 

 

Your role

  • Support the scaling-up from 200L- to 2000L-scale of suitable processes for manufacturing operations (Pre-clinical and Clinical) 

  • Produce at large-scale NBEs for pre-clinical or clinical studies. 

  • Support the delivery of BDC.  

  • Ensure that the equipment are compliant and perform as expected.  

  • Accountable for the respect of quality standards, GXP rules and ensure safety in the areas under its responsibility. 

  • Maintain his/her training plan up to date. 

  • Be proactive in identification of improvement area, speak-up and acts to improve his daily life 

  • Be supportive to operational excellence by participating to operational excellence project or implementing TIMWOODS for example. 

  • Speak-up as soon as an unexpected event appears. 

  • Be compliant in his/her scope of activities by ensuring a full traceability of his/her activities (e.g. writing of protocols, reports, SOPs, Writing instructions, Batch Records…)
