We are seeking an experienced EHS expert specialized in Occupational Hygiene to support the Vevey EHS management system implementation, Vevey EHS strategy deployment, risk mitigation programs, and the development of EHS culture and capabilities, in compliance with the company standards and Swiss EHS regulations. In addition, the role may contribute to environmental and sustainability-related topics on an as-needed basis, in coordination with the relevant site stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • EHS expert for the appointed area(s) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Occupational Hygiene (primary focus).
  • Support and deploy key EHS programs related to: EHS compliance; workplace risk assessment, risk mitigation and continuous improvement; incident investigation; EHS culture; audits; training; communication; performance monitoring.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee key EHS programs related to: Occupational Hygiene (primary); other disciplines assigned through the Duty Holder framework; environmental and sustainability-related contributions, as needed (secondary), in collaboration with site SMEs/owners.
  • Scope: Vevey Campus.
 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and operating EHS risk assessments, exposure assessment, and hazard control practices.
  • Proficiency in EHS design reviews, new equipment safety review, and facility integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO Standards and Swiss Health & Safety legislation.
  • Degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Biology), Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Health and Safety Diploma recognized in Switzerland (Chargé de Sécurité CFST, Ingénieur sécurité CFST, spécialiste STPS, expert STPS).
  • Environmental qualification recognized in Switzerland is an asset.
