Job Title: Master Student Intern – Formulation Development on Robotic Platforms
Department: Early phase drug product development

 

Your role:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Master student for a 1-year internship to join our Drug Product Development team. You will assist in the deployment and optimization of automated workflows for formulation development of biologics on our robotic platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge biotechnological processes and contribute to the standardization of robotic workflows in drug product development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment of new workflows for stress studies and analytics as well as the optimization of current workflows for formulation preparation and stability.
  • Collaborate with the team to design processes, ensuring they meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Conduct experiments and collect data to improve robotic workflows & analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to robotic platforms and process development, including automation coding (protocol scripting and parameter tuning).
  • Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for robotic workflows.
  • Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of robotic platforms used for formulation development.Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotic technologies and their applications in biotechnology.

 

Your profil:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Engineering, Automation & Robotic). Basic understanding of formulation development and analytics of biologics is a plus.
  • Strong interest in biotechnological processes and robotic automation. Previous experience with robotic platforms or automation in a laboratory setting is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and experimental techniques & experience with programming languages used in automation (e.g., Python).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation & an ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail & a strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, while proficiency in French is a plus.
