Your role

We are seeking a motivated master student for 1-year internship to join our Drug Substance Process Development team. In the context of monoclonal antibody process development, we have different robotic platforms installed in our department. One is dedicated to upstream and cell line workflows development.

The intern will assist in the development and optimization of processes on this robotic platform to automate the cell line development activities. The final aim is to support the deployment of an end-to-end automated cell line expansion workflow from 200uL to 30mL. The internship will be focused on the implementation of the last scale allowing to reach 30mL working volume.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment of new workflows for cell line and cell culture development on robotic systems (using liquid handler, incubators, readers, etc…)
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to robotic platforms and process development.
  • Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for robotic workflows.
  • Present work results in team meetings

 

Your pofile :

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program, preferentially in Automation & Robotics. Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Chemistry curriculum with a background of programming is also a fit.
  • Experience with programming languages used in automation (e.g., Python)
  • Strong interest in biotechnological processes and robotic automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
