Internship in Drug Product Affinity Testing Method Implementation


Introduction
If you are passionate about analytics for biotherapeutic development, this opportunity is for you! Located at the state-of-the-art Biotech Development Center (BDC) in Corsier-sur-Vevey, you will work alongside experienced formulation and analytical scientists in the Global Drug Product Development (GDPD) team. Your internship will focus on implementing affinity testing on different drug product formulations on a newly purchased equipment.


Your role:
During the internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn and understand to use Biolayer Interferometry equipment in the frame of drug product affinity testing against their targets
  • Generate dataset to assess the impact of thermal, mechanical and chemical stress on drug products in carious formulations
  • Work alongside formulation and analytical scientists to have a broad overview of methods used in drug product development.
  • Contribute to our ambition of delivering more medicines to more patients, faster


Your profile:

  • Background in biology/chemistry/physics
  • Experience with analytical methods for protein-based samples (e.g. affinity testing, ELISA, chromatography, electrophoresis)
  • Interest in experimental work and data analysis.
  • You have high levels of autonomy, proactivity but also enjoy teamwork.
  • Good knowledge of English.
