Role level: Internship 

 

Your role:

During this internship, you will:

  • Review and assess historical WCB validation activities performed at the Vevey manufacturing site.
  • Analyze current practices and identify opportunities for harmonization and standardization.
  • Develop a scientifically sound and regulatory-compliant validation strategy applicable to all WCBs.
  • Evaluate the potential benefits of the proposed approach, including efficiency gains and reduction of validation workload.
  • Collaborate with MSAT and cross-functional stakeholders to support the implementation of the strategy.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to the team.

Your profile: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree or Engineering program in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and validation activities within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Curious, proactive, analytical, and eager to learn.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
