As a valued team member in Global Drug Substance Development, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of scientists passionate about advancing and implementing solutions for the production of novel biological therapeutics.
Your primary focus within this team will be on enhancing the perfusion platform process in bioreactors. These bioreactors, equipped with cell retention devices, range in size from 3.5 L to 20 L and/or 200 L. Your responsibilities will include optimizing cell retention device parameters and providing operational recommendations. Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to program and operate automated sampling systems.
We will provide comprehensive training to enable you to work independently in the laboratory. This includes essential skills such as cell thawing, cell expansion, working under laminar flow hoods, and in-process control. You'll also play an active role in experimental design.
Furthermore, you'll develop your analytical and presentation skills by interpreting data and sharing your findings during project discussions. To conclude your internship, you'll compose a detailed report summarizing your work and achievements.
