Your Role:


As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental in executing the commercial plan within the DACH region, driving the growth of our territory (Northern Germany). You will cultivate deep customer relationships with approximately 40 accounts, ranging from mid-sized companies to global strategic accounts. This position includes a competitive sales-based incentive plan to reward your success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan, identifying key opportunities to drive sales and collaborate with specialists and colleagues across the region.
  • Manage pricing agreements with significant customers and conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Participate in targeted sales campaigns, focusing on specific segments of our diverse portfolio.
  • Build and nurture relationships within your accounts, expanding your network of contacts and mapping out opportunities.
  • Effectively manage your opportunity pipeline and customer interactions using Salesforce (SFdC) to track leads and progress.
  • Leverage digital tools to identify and act on new business opportunities within your territory independently.
  • Provide regular and accurate forecasts for your territory to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with other teams to exchange experiences, offer feedback, and co-develop innovative ideas to accelerate growth.

 


Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology)
  • 5+ years of sales experience and success in the Life Science industry, including in-depth knowledge of the German Industry and Lab Testing market.
  • Willingness to travel up to 3 days per week within the assigned territory
  • Fluent in German and English for effective communication with customers and internal teams
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Strong desire to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Proficient in using Salesforce (SFdC) and relevant sales analysis tools
