Our colleagues across the globe love innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Together, we dream big and are passionate about caring for our rich mix of people, customers, patients, and planet. That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.

Your role:

Microbiological contamination control is at the heart of pharmaceutical manufacturing quality — and in this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding a cutting-edge portfolio of microbiological testing and automation solutions across key German markets. You will take full ownership of a defined territory, developing and executing a strategic account plan that targets new customer acquisition, deepens existing relationships, and positions the portfolio as the partner of choice within the pharmaceutical and biotech sector.

You will engage consultatively with technical and commercial stakeholders across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, guiding them through high-value capital investment decisions with clarity and credibility. By combining deep microbiological expertise with a structured approach to pipeline management, you will identify untapped market opportunities, introduce advanced automation and robotics solutions, and deliver measurable revenue growth. Your ability to navigate long sales cycles and translate technical value into business outcomes will be central to your success in this role.

Who you are:

  • You bring at least 5 years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical quality control, production, or a closely related life science sector, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets in complex business-to-business environments.
  • You hold academic degree in microbiology, biology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience); knowledge of laboratory automation or robotics is a strong advantage.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality control and production environments, including familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines, Annex 1 and cleanroom or aseptic processing requirements.
  • You are experienced in managing high-value, long-cycle capital expenditure sales processes, including stakeholder mapping across complex organizational structures and engagement at management level.
  • You are fluent in German (C2) and English (C1); an established professional network within the German pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly advantageous.
  • You hold a valid driver’s license and are willing to spend the majority of your working time in the field across Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and North Rhine-Westphalia; candidates based within these regions are preferred.
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage credibly across both technical and commercial functions.
  • You have a proven ability to manage territory, spending over 70% of time in the field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and you are highly self-directed and results-oriented, with a disciplined approach to pipeline management and territory planning.
  • You are familiar with artificial intelligence concepts and tools, including their practical applications and limitations, and are able to apply this understanding to evaluate and use AI-supported solutions responsibly in a commercial context.
