Your Role:

Are you intersted to apply your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of our top clients?

As part of our Corporate Security Team and as a proven expert, you will be part of an Executive Protection Program and ensure the safety and security of our key clients. Your responsibilities will include a hybrid of conducting counter-ingelligence, risk assessments, developing security concepts, procedures and standards.

Planning, coordinating and managing security resources for executive protection operations but also conducting by youself as well.

In this role as corporate security expert, you will be part of a team that supports top Executives and Stakeholders in all matters of personal, physical and event security.

There you will work closely with internal staff and a network of external vendors to help facilitate personal, physical and event security.

Furthermore, you will support Security training programs in travel Security for Merck employees.

We are looking for a customer and service-oriented individual that is diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, works very well both independently and in a team.

You have demonstrated excellent judgment and decision-making skill. Politeness combined with assertiveness are also skills you bring into the role. The role involves strong operational, but also strategic, administrational and interpersonal skills.

National and international travel might be required.

Who you are:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in executive protection and event security.
  • Thereof 3+ years of experience in private enterprise related to security topics
• Law enforcement and/or military experience are gladly seen, but not mandatory
• High level of service-oriented behavior
• Proven track record in personal and event security, protection strategies, tactics, and technology
• Ability to develop operational executive protection and event security concepts and documents
• Ability to support activities in other Corporate Security-related areas (e.g. Physical Security)
• Experience planning and executing executive protection and event security domestically and internationally
• Ability to work in highly collaborative and matrixed environment
• You break new ground and are interested in technology (e.g. AI Tools)
• Relevant qualifications including Firearms and extended First Aid qualifications are desireable
• Resindet near to Darmstadt, willing to move or to implement a second resident near to Darmstadt is mandatory
• High time flexibility and readiness for action must be present (shift model)
• Fluent in German and English, additional language skills are a plus
