Your Role:
As the Director of Business Process Excellence (BPE) in our Business Sector Life Science. You will be at the forefront of driving strategic process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your primary responsibility will be to execute a comprehensive BPE strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders across various departments—including Operations, IT, HR, Quality, Commercial, Sourcing, and R&D—to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices. Leading change initiatives, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization. Your role will involve ensuring that all processes are well-documented, standardized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
- You are an experienced leader with a minimum of 10 years in business process improvement or operational excellence, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- You have a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives within complex organizational environments.
- You are analytical and data-driven in your decision-making, proficient in project management methodologies, and skilled in building relationships across teams.
- You have a passion for process excellence and continuous improvement, demonstrating initiative in driving projects independently and a willingness to travel as needed to support BPE initiatives across various locations.
- With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (a master’s degree or MBA is preferred), you possess strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Your excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Your technical proficiency includes familiarity with process improvement software and data analysis tools, and you hold certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent, with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification being a plus.
