Your Role
As an Expert in EHS Data Management within the Hazard Communication department, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a robust framework for managing environmental, health, and safety data in SAP systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive management of product composition data, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations such as Safety Data Sheet generation and label content creation. You will design tools and processes for import volume monitoring, oversee the implementation of restrictions on exports and deliveries.
The role will combine process design with hands-on operational work. Additionally, you will design rule sets for automation and improvement, adapting to evolving legislation and IT environments. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing the integration of our ERP system with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems, laying the groundwork for successful business activities.
Who You Are
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in EHS data management and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of global chemical regulations in combination with excellent IT skills
- Proficient in SAP and non-SAP systems, experience in GTS, substance volume tracking and labelling systems
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and IT environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
- Passionate about building sustainable and compliant business operations
