Your Role
Bringing a new therapy to patients with rare tumours requires more than scientific excellence — it demands bold, globally coordinated brand leadership. As Global Marketing Director Gomekli/Ezmekly, you will be at the heart of shaping and executing the global brand strategy for a Rare Tumor brand, driving its successful launch and long-term lifecycle performance across international markets. Working in close partnership with the Global Brand Lead and a broad cross-functional team, you will translate complex scientific and clinical insights into compelling, credible brand narratives that resonate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders worldwide. Your work will directly influence how this therapy is positioned, communicated, and adopted across markets — making a tangible difference for patients and the teams that serve them.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Partner closely with the Global Brand Lead to develop and evolve the global brand strategy, including brand positioning, messaging frameworks, digital engagement platforms, and campaign architecture.
- Translate global brand strategy into actionable toolkits — such as messaging guides, launch playbooks, and best practice libraries — to enable effective regional and local execution, with a particular focus on ex-US markets.
- Ensure effective two-way knowledge transfer between global and local teams, disseminating global strategy while integrating local insights and on-the-ground perspectives.
- Lead and oversee global congress strategy and execution, and provide strategic guidance to regional and local congress planning.
- Develop a deep scientific understanding of the disease area, mechanism of action, clinical data, and competitive landscape to shape compelling and credible brand narratives.
- Provide strategic input and leadership within the Global Brand Team and broader cross-functional governance structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, Commercial Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure aligned and compliant execution.
- Proactively identify strategic opportunities, design initiatives to address them, and drive excellence in implementation.
- Manage agencies, vendors, and project budgets to deliver high-quality, timely outputs.
- Represent the brand at major conferences, internal meetings, and global alignment forums.
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced degree such as an MBA or a postgraduate qualification in life sciences, business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- You bring 10 or more years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including at least 6 years of global or local oncology marketing experience; experience in rare disease is a strong advantage.
- You have a proven track record in product launch and in-line brand management; prior experience in a sales or field-facing role is an advantage.
- You demonstrate a deep scientific curiosity and the ability to translate complex clinical and medical data into clear, compelling brand narratives for diverse audiences.
- You have a strong record of influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, both with and without direct authority, in a global and matrixed environment.
- You are a skilled communicator and collaborator, able to build trust and alignment across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
- You are highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- You are willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight stays, as required by business needs.
- English fluent, additional languages are a plus
