Your Role
As a Medical Communications Lead, you will work closely with your tumor-specific data generation and insights development counterparts, to set the strategic direction for all medical communications related to assets in our Oncology pipeline. You will work with a global cross-functional program team to deliver multi-channel medical communication plans, including integrated strategies for publication, congress symposia, internal medical training and external medical education. To enable the HCP knowledge journey, you will drive development of strategic Scientific Narratives and Scientific Communication framework for both pre- and post-launch products. In close cooperation with vendors and in-house project managers, you will develop high quality, scientifically accurate content, aligned to the strategic needs of our country medical colleagues.

 

Who You are

  • Proven track record of leading teams to create and deliver multi-channel-based Medical Communication Strategies and related deliverables for Global cross-functional teams is required; strategic launch experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience building and implementing strategic scientific narratives for pre-launch or post-launch products; must have strong leadership skills, strength in learning agility, and demonstrated success in complex stakeholder management
  • 8+ years’ professional experience in an international Pharma/ Biotech medical publication/communication setting, and/or Medical Communications agency, required
  • Therapeutic expertise/experience in Oncology and/or Solid Tumors, as well as sound business acumen and knowledge of industry trends required
  • Advanced university degree in science, medicine or another health-science related subject (PhD or equivalent) required
  • Line management experience and experience with insourced (offshored) agency model a plus
  • Excellent (fluent) verbal and written English communication skills required; basic knowledge of 2nd language (German, French) a plus
