Your Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sustainable Licrivision material sales in the automotive and architectural markets. In this role, you will create sustainable sales from commercial projects at tier 2 customers, navigate value chains to identify customer needs, and translate insights into tangible value propositions, technical features, and reliable market forecasts. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while engaging potential clients to understand their requirements and propose suitable solutions. Additionally, you will act as a thought leader for LC dynamic glazing technology at automotive and architectural key events. Collaboration with local KAM/sales organizations, product development, and product management will be essential to achieve sales and direct new product development. You should operate confidently in global and multinational organizations, focusing on China, Europe, the US, and Asia. Join us to shape the future of dynamic glazing technology!
Who you are:
- Skilled negotiator and established network of contacts with strong communication & influencing skills (English)
- able to navigate through high & low context environments with global high-tech industry (electronics, automotive) and traditional regional industry (construction, real estate) in complex value chains
- adaptive/contextual leader: bold & outspoken, and ga ood listener & team player with the ability to act as a thought leader for LC dynamic glazing, functional leadership in a global team, and to adjust leadership style based on the situation
- commercial mindset based on a proven technical background with the ability to learn LC dynamic glazing specifics and the physics of liquid crystals
- Experience in a business development or similar commercial role within the LC (liquid crystals) sector.
- Client-focused with the ability to understand customer needs
