Your role: 

You will be responsible for overseeing and directing financials for Global Pharma Manufacturing (GPM). Your primary focus will be on the financial management of production costs across twelve production sites and capital expenditures (CAPEX). Additionally, you will serve as a Finance Business Partner (BP) to the GPM Leadership team, specifically in Manufacturing and Quality.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial oversight, analysis, and support to guide and enhance the function, with a strong emphasis on simplification and standardization of financial processes. Your contributions will be vital in advising Leadership teams, evaluating strategic decisions, and assessing investment projects.

You will also represent Global Healthcare Operations Controlling in external partnerships.

Collaborating with your team, you will establish a robust interface between the finance organization and business management, driving initiatives that streamline operations and improve efficiency. Alongside your responsibilities as a BP, you will lead and develop a global finance team consisting of 12 direct reports.

 

This global role is based in Darmstadt.

 

Who you are:

∙ University Degree in accounting, economics or business administration

∙ > 10y experience in an international biotech / pharma company

∙ Knowledge and interest in pharma production and development processes, R&D is a plus

∙ Strong skillset in product costing, value chains, variance analysis

∙ Proven leadership skills in managing teams

∙ Ability to manage both big picture view and high level of detail

∙ Ability to challenge BPs while maintaining good working relationships

∙ Fluent in English, German is a plus
