We are seeking an In Vivo Pharmacologist with a strong emphasis on Animal Science and Welfare to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all animal science and welfare activities comply with regulatory standards and promote a Culture of Care within the organization. In addition, you will play a pivotal role as a team member and/or leader in multidisciplinary drug discovery projects. Your oncology expertise will be essential in the development of anticancer agents across various modalities, including Antibody Drug Conjugates, Biologics, and Small Molecules.
Your role:
- Lead a research laboratory focused on in vivo pharmacology in oncology.
- Manage, design, implement, execute, and report on research experiments.
- Utilize your expertise in Animal Science & Welfare to oversee and organize related activities within the department.
- Contribute to and/or organize working groups both within the department and cross-functionally, promoting best practices in Animal Science & Welfare and fostering a Culture of Care.
Who you are:
- PhD or DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Expertise in oncology and in vivo pharmacology.
- Profound knowledge of Animal Science & Welfare, including German regulatory guidelines; expertise in veterinary care of laboratory animals and laboratory animal science is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and German.
