Your Role
As the Manager of Regulatory Affairs within the Surface Solutions business unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with a variety of chemical and application-specific regulations. You will oversee the hazard identification and risk assessment for ingredients of cosmetic products. Your expertise will be vital in applying dangerous goods regulations as well as registration and notification obligations. Additionally, you will act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and trade associations. Your contributions will not only safeguard our operational license but also lay the groundwork for our business activities, fostering a culture of safety and regulatory excellence across the organization.
Who You Are
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the chemical or cosmetic industry
- Strong knowledge in risk assessments and compliance to global regulations
- Familiarity with interfaces to data management, and sustainability
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and intercultural teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in regulatory practices and market-driven requirements
