Your role:

As Strategic Sourcing Manager Packaging, you will lead end-to-end sourcing activities for packaging materials, driving cost optimization and supplier collaboration. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives and sustainability goals. The purpose of this role solves the challenge of managing suppliers and generating favorable terms by conducting Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Requests for Quotations, and supplier meetings. Currently, our team consists of 5 members with a structure of Strategic Sourcing Managers. The role is based in either France (Molsheim) or Germany (Darmstadt).

 
Who you are:

• You have 4+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within packaging or related industries
• You possess strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in supplier relationship management
• You are skilled in conducting and managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with a strategic mindset
• You demonstrate analytical thinking with the ability to interpret market trends and cost drivers
• You work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels
• You have a results-driven attitude and adapt quickly to changing business priorities
• You are fluent in English and comfortable working in a multicultural environment
• You are committed to driving sustainable procurement practices and continuous improvement
