Your role:

As a Postdoctoral Data Scientist, you will establish a novel high content imaging assay on primary human hepatocytes and develop advanced data analysis tools to enhance drug discovery, focusing on understanding compound toxicity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure effective data utilization to identify potential drug candidates, understand their liabilities, and accelerate development. You will work alongside pharmacology, toxicology, and medicinal chemistry scientists, coordinating AI model development with AI data scientists to create predictive models. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge laboratory research with data science, omics technologies, and AI-driven analysis, shaping the future of drug discovery and safety assessment.

The position is limited to 2 years.

 

Who you are:

  • PhD in Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Biology with hands-on computational experience
  • Experience in high content imaging and image analysis
  • Proven application of ML/AI techniques in pharmaceutical R&D or related biological sciences
  • Strong programming skills in Python and R
  • Excellent understanding of cell biology, pharmacology, and toxicology
  • Experience with OMICs data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
