Your role: We seek a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the data ingestion and integration efforts in our global Data & AI ecosystem UPTIMIZE by creating a unified data ingestion environment. This environment will be the home of our strategic source data products and will act as a hub towards other UPTIMIZE platform products as well as other transactional and non-transactional systems. As part of your role, you will join our Data & AI Products Organization within the MDAO that is bringing a product-led mindset to the UPTIMIZE D&A ecosystem. You will report to the Global Head of Platform Product Portfolio.

 

Your responsibilities: 

As the Product Owner for Data Ingestion, you will own the end-to-end data ingestion user journey by evolving and improving our existing data ingestion governance processes, technology, and user interfaces holistically. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the company to create connectivity blueprints for all strategic company systems to the newly established cloud-based hub. As part of the companies group data and AI strategy, the data ingestion platform offering you create will be the backbone of all our Data, Analytics & AI use cases and data products. In your role you will empower your agile team to timely deliver high-quality product features by leading sprint planning, backlog management and the communication with our diverse user base.

 

Who you are: 

• You have a higher-education degree (Master’s, PhD, MBA) in computer science or business information technology or comparable

• 3+ years of professional experience in defining the architecture of IT landscapes and related governance and security topics

• Significant experience with data ingestion & integration in data lake and cloud data warehouse environments

• Experience with extracting data out of ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle) into cloud-based data environments is beneficial

• Experience with data movement tools such as Fivetran is beneficial

• Experience in GxP-regulated environments with qualifications requirements for IT infrastructure components is beneficial

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholder at all organizational levels

• Experience in analyzing user need and subsequent translation into tangible, technical deliverables

• Passion for driving improvement and leading change in a dynamic environment

• Preferably, you have a prior work experience in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, or chemical industry

• Experienced in working in a global matrix environment, lateral leadership and positively influencing stakeholders

• Excellent team player who takes accountability and thinks cross functional
