Your role:
An exciting job opportunity as a project manager is arising within the Life Science Production System deployment team.
The Life Science Production System (LSPS) is a holistic, state-of-the-art methodology to create a world-class execution of operations. The worldwide LSPS implementation is one of the top ISCO initiatives to increase customer and employee satisfaction, to grow business, and to improve efficiency continuously. The successful rollout, therefore, has enormous relevance and high visibility in the organization. Joining after the global pilot phase, you will be part of the deployment team to further roll out the LSPS within your production site.
The position of the LSPS Site Deployment Team Member is responsible for driving a set of key LSPS initiatives and ensuring successful implementation and sustainment in the transformation area of focus. The position will work closely with the frontline employees as well as the operational leadership in the respective site to support the installation of LSPS modules according to the area of optimization. The position will support capability-building efforts of the frontline employees (e.g., through workshops, on-the-job training, coaching, etc.) to ensure they can sustain the changes made and be considered expert authorities on the LSPS modules, purpose, design, and process. Examples of initiatives during the pilot phase include improvements in maintenance, planning & scheduling, performance management, and leadership.
Who are you:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sciences, Operations, or related/equivalent field
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the expertise areas highlighted in the position objective, Production/QC, Technical Project/change/process management
- Independence, assertiveness, and ability to make decisions quickly and confidently, with a strong skillset for people interaction and cross-functional teamwork across departments, divisions, and external consultants.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead a team of diverse stakeholders, including senior management
- Strong negotiation and delegation skills – able to influence without direct authority to achieve desired outcomes.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, including the ability to give presentations and to speak to various technical and non-technical groups, fluent in German.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the areas of Lean Management, Six Sigma, or TPM is a plus.
