Your role:

As an analytical expert (Senior Scientist) in our protein analytics laboratory, you will play a key role in conducting cutting-edge research in protein analytics. You will utilize advanced mass spectrometry techniques to analyze proteins, develop new methods and support various projects in healthcare R&D. Your responsibilities will include characterizing mAbs and ADCs using mass spectrometry techniques, developing and optimizing experimental methods for protein analysis, and analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects, ensure that activities in your area of responsibility are performed according to state-of-the-art knowledge, and create and maintain a scientific network both within and outside the organization. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

 

Who you are:

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field, with a focus on protein mass spectrometry.
  • Strong experience in protein analytics, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry techniques (intact mass analysis, peptide mapping).
  • Ideally at least 3 years of industrial experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in chemistry would be advantageous.
  •  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Think out-of-the-box to find creative and interdisciplinary solutions.
  • Motivation to learn and to invest in personal development.
  •  Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
