Segment Marketing Manager (all genders)

As Segment Marketing Manager within Process Solutions/Process and Formulation Materials (m/f/n) you will be responsible to identify, realize, and commercialize our combined offering of products and solutions for the targeted market segments. This role is focused on supporting the strategy development for the key segments, assessing innovation gaps, as well as developing the value proposition of our combined offering through the collaboration with cross-functional counterparts (Marketing, MarCom, Sales). You will drive the translation of the global segment strategy into yearly priorities and align with Marketing activities and Go-To-market tactical plans. The development of tools and thought leadership content to better promote and position the value proposition of solutions in front of customers and on our digital platforms will also be a key activity. You will be part of a global team within a multi-stakeholder environment. This position will be based in Europe.

 

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • University degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical science
  • Min. 5 years of experience within the life science/biopharma industry/pharma, preferably with relation to marketing/sales/product development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in dealing with markets/customer needs on a global level
  • Clear customer focus by driving for solutions
  • Combination of technical & business skills to understand customer need, identify opportunities to provide solutions to customer’s current or future needs
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to communicate across boundaries, to lead through influence and collaborate cross-functional
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to drive for/deliver results
