Your Role: We are currently seeking to appoint Senior Director level, Due Diligence Lead to oversee due diligence (DD) activities in our key disease areas especially in Cardiometabolic, Endocrinology (CM&E) and Fertility, Oncology, Neurology or Immunology, respectively. Working within a higly skilled team, you will lead on all scientific and technical due diligence processes for potential partnering, acquisitions, or licensing deals. The role will require you to utilise your own expertise in global drug development, as well as the expertise of other internal and external experts to deliver full due diligence assessments to senior management to support key investment decision making.

Who you are

  • PhD, MD, PharmD or comparable degree in life sciences required with relevant work experiences in respective investment priority field
  • 8-10 years work experience in biotech/ pharma drug development in global drug development, including track record of leading multidisciplinary global project teams in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • You are a proven Program Leader with significant experience and demonstrable track record of leading multidisciplinary global project teams in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, potentially as a Global Program Head or similar.
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical development process, with credible hands-on R&D experience and demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of drug development and/or broad working knowledge spanning research, pre-clinical development, process development, manufacturing, clinical, and regulatory processes.
  • Broad experience across multiple therapeutic areas, especially in oncology, immunology, neurology or CM&E and Fertility benefitial. 
  • Experience in conducting and leading Due Diligences and related activities with demonstrated experience of honing in on key questions and guiding diligence teams.
