Your role:

Our company’s strategy is centered around growth driven to a large degree by organic investments. Therefore, our group invests significant funds into technical, technology, and IT projects as a key driver for future value creation. You are in a team that acts as a competence center for investment controlling and valuation. The team provides transparency at group level on investment decisions and capital allocation, ensures harmonization and standardization of methods, processes and tools throughout all project phases and is accountable for the group’s overall Capital Expenditures (CapEx) management.

You assess strategic and large investment projects by modelling investment alternatives, e.g. make or buy, greenfield or brownfield investments. You collaborate, review and challenge business cases in-depth together with project teams, business sectors and enabling function experts, resulting in recommendations and optimal decision-making to the Group CFO, the Group Investment Committee (IVC) and the Executive Board.

In addition, you perform legal entity valuations, post implementation assessments and assist individual projects and initiatives, e.g. current initiatives are centered around sustainability, forecasting & reporting systems, and aligning CapEx strategies with corporate objectives.

 

Who you are:

  • University degree in Business Administration, a scientific, or a technical field
  • 5-10 years of work experience in a global environment with a strong track record in investment controlling
  • Profound experience in valuation, corporate finance related topics and financial modeling of business cases; strong knowledge or background in CapEx related topics
  • Background in Corporate or Business Controlling, Strategy Consulting or Financial Advisory
  • Ability to drive multiple global projects with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills as well as ability to obtain results through working with people in different organizations and at different levels
  • Work attitude characterized by drive, passion, customer focus, and openness
