Location:Darmstadt, Germany  

Hours: 20 hours per week  

Duration: Six months  

 

Your Role:  
As a Working Student in the I&OT Enablement team for the Electronics Information & Operational Technology (IT/OT) division within Data, Digital & IT, you will support the management and optimization of the IT/OT project portfolio and initiatives across the organization. Your primary focus will be on assisting in the identification, prioritization, and alignment of IT/OT demand with business objectives. You will collaborate with various business units, project managers, and technical teams to help translate operational needs into actionable projects. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting business case development and assessing project feasibility 
  • Assisting in tracking performance metrics and overseeing the portfolio management process 
  • Participating in regular reviews of ongoing projects and helping to re-prioritize initiatives based on evolving business needs 
  • Contributing to the optimization of resource allocation and ensuring compliance with governance processes 
  • Helping to manage risks and drive continuous improvement in demand and portfolio management 

 

Who You Are:  

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, industrial engineering, or a related field 
  • Strong interest in IT/OT project management and digital transformation. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project portfolio management tools is a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  • Previous internship or project experience in a related field is desirable but not mandatory 
  • Language skills: English fluent (C1) in written and spoken form, German desirable but not mandatory
