Key Accountabilities

·        As a Key Account Manager your primary focus will be on the promotion and sales of product solutions to our Diagnostic Manufacturing customers.

·        You will meet or exceed set sales targets, through growing existing assigned accounts and creating additional business.

·        Manage sales opportunities by generating and following leads.

·        Monitor and take action to close gaps against sales targets, and update forecast as required. Understand customer’s business, their needs and goals and identify potential new business.

·        Identify market and competitor activity, product and industry developments and feedback this information to management and other relevant functions (e.g. Marketing or Scientific Liaison).

·        Identify, build relationship with appropriate decision makers within Customers and manage sales negotiations.

·        Provide performance reports and metrics and other data as required to customers and internally.

·        Identify general areas for improvements to maximize customer satisfaction & efficiencies, streamline processes, increase sales, improve delivery and product availability etc.

It is a home based position.

Travel is required approximately 30% of the time.

 

Key requirements

Third level Life Science qualification required.

Key account management experience, able to develop strategic relationships at all levels and to negotiate for large and complex contracts

Strong communication and negotiation skills, proactive, customer oriented, self-motivated, positive attitude and team work abilities
