Site Director will be accountable for overall onsite safety, as well as regulatory environmental and health compliance, while overseeing daily operations of the production plant from incoming materials to outgoing products. The Site Director will develop and maintain processes and resources to maximize safety, quality, productivity, and community stewardship.

Your Role:

1. Environment, Health, Safety & Security

• The Site Director is accountable for all site environmental, health, safety, and security aspects. Site Director will partner with the Site EHS Manager to achieve:
• A culture of zero EHS incidents and continuous improvement in safety and EHS matters.
• Full compliance with local EHS legal requirements, government certifications, all required permits to conduct site activities.
• A robust EHS management system aligned with corporate policies and procedures.

2. Quality and compliance

• The Site Director is accountable for achieving high quality performance aligned with production and services to Semiconductor manufacturing companies. Site Director will partner with the Site Quality Manager to achieve:
• A site culture and expectation of zero quality defects. 
• A quality management system (QMS) aligned to the needs and expectations of semiconductor materials production and handling. Audits and inspections from customer and regulatory bodies are well supported and receive timely closure.
• Ongoing and appropriate investment in plant and equipment is carried out to meet appropriate quality standards

3. Production and Supply Reliability

• Site Director partners with the Supply Chain Planning, Production and Logistics teams to:
• Lead the creation of the yearly operating plan and ensure management team objectives are aligned to meet targets.
• Develop strategic investment plans to remain ahead of demand volume growth and ensure success in technology transfers to/from other sites and partners.
• Align inventory levels of supply materials and production capacity to meet demand.
• Ensure all orders are manufactured to meet on-time, in-full (OTIF) targets
• Promote a culture of transparency between all relevant stakeholders, proactively identifying problems and risks to supply, and taking appropriate countermeasures.

4. People Leadership

• Sets example by leading with priority of safety, quality, and operational discipline
• Clarifies and drives accountability and responsibility appropriate to each organization and level 
• Continually enhances the skill level of the organization and drives people development 
• Promotes a high impact culture and fosters employee engagement at the site

5. Site Leader role within the Business Field Network

• Fosters cooperation, learning, best practice, and talent development across sites
• Cooperates within matrix structure, and recognizes when decisions must be made within site or outside site 
   

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science (Master’s degree or MBA is preferred)
• +10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing plant management function.
• Prefer candidates from chemical manufacturing background, and especially knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and quality expectations.
• Must have adequate knowledge of business management principles such as budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.
• Strong leadership skills: Ability to attract, motivate and retain talent. Demonstrated the ability to deliver strong team building, fostering decision-making, empowerment, and people management skills
• High energy, creative, passionate, and self-motivated, someone who has a strong desire to succeed.
• Communicates openly and transparently, not afraid of delivering bad news or ensuring operational discipline is maintained. Challenges both self and others via clear objectives, frequent feedback, and appropriate actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both native language and business English.
