Your role
You will join the Global Healthcare Operations Data Excellence team, which helps the organization make data quality measurable, transparent, and actionable. As Data Quality Analyst, you will profile, measure, monitor, and help improve critical data across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and related GHO functions. You will work with data owners, business and technical data stewards, digital and IT teams, Enterprise Data, and process teams to turn data quality standards into practical rules, scorecards, dashboards, issue tracking, and remediation insights. Your work will support trusted reporting, analytics, automation, Smart Manufacturing, AI readiness, compliant operations, and confident decision-making.
- Define, document, and maintain data quality rules and measurement logic for approved critical data elements and priority data domains.
- Profile agreed datasets and assess completeness, consistency, duplication, timeliness, validity, accuracy, uniqueness, and integrity.
- Build and maintain data quality scorecards, dashboards, and reports for Data Owners, Data Stewards, and governance forums.
- Monitor data quality trends and identify recurring patterns, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate data quality incidents and support root cause analysis with business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain issue logs, remediation trackers, and closure evidence for priority data quality issues.
- Support prioritization of remediation actions based on business impact, regulatory relevance, operational risk, and transformation dependencies.
- Validate whether remediation actions have resolved the underlying issue and improved the agreed quality measures.
- Apply GHO data quality standards, thresholds, critical data definitions, and measurement approaches.
- Contribute to the definition of critical data elements, business rules, quality dimensions, acceptance criteria, and data readiness assessments.
- Prepare concise data quality insights and materials for governance councils, stewardship forums, and Community of Practice sessions.
- Assess data readiness for reporting, analytics, automation, Smart Manufacturing, AI use cases, and transformation programmes.
- Identify data gaps that affect KPI transparency, reporting reliability, process performance, and reuse of governed datasets.
- Work with technical teams to support the implementation, automation, and monitoring of quality rules in relevant data platforms.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 or more years of experience in data quality, data analysis, data governance, master data, business intelligence, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or enterprise operations.
- Experience in data profiling, root cause analysis, issue tracking, dashboarding, reporting, or data quality measurement in a complex business or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of data quality dimensions, including accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness, and integrity.
- Ability to detect anomalies, analyze trends, and translate findings into clear business insights and remediation actions.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI or equivalent reporting tools, data quality tools, data catalogues, and enterprise data platforms.
- An understanding of operational systems and data flows, such as ERP, MES, WMS, APS, LIMS, and analytics platforms, is beneficial.
- Understanding of data ownership, stewardship, critical data elements, metadata, business rules, and governance forums.
- Structured problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and disciplined documentation and follow-through.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in clear business language and guide issues through to measurable closure.
The position is intended for Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
