Your Role: The Clinical Operations Therapeutic Area Delivery Head for Oncology will be a key member of the Global Development Operations (GDO) executive leadership team, reporting to the Head of GDO. This role is responsible for developing a portfolio strategy aligned with drug development goals and regulatory pathways, translating Portfolio Governance decisions into actionable delivery strategies. The incumbent will ensure clinical programs are executed on time, within budget, and compliant with GCP, ICH, and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include strategic input into study design, using data-driven decision-making and real-time analytics, and adopting innovative technologies. The Delivery Head will represent GDO in governance meetings, mentor high-performing teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

 

 

Who you are:

  • You have completed 15+ years of experience in clinical operations within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 10 years in program leadership, demonstrating a proven track record of leading large, global clinical trial portfolios.
  • You have extensive experience in Oncology, both in developing operational strategy and driving execution of multiple programs in parallel.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, PMDA, ICH-GCP) and global clinical development processes.
  • You bring experience in managing CROs and vendor partnerships in a global environment.
  • You have the ability to translate corporate objectives into clinical development strategies.
  • You are able to deomnstrate strong collaboration skills across internal and external teams, with the ability to influence decision-making in a matrix organization, leading by objectives.
  • You are fluent in English (written and oral).
  • You are prepared for both domestic and international travel up to 40% of the time.
